Maya Plumbaum (Flombaum) Katz is a Ramat Gan city councillor for the Ramat Gan 1 faction led by Carmel Shama-Hacohen, and holds the immigration and absorption portfolio. She studied economics and international relations at the Hebrew University and earned an MBA at Tel Aviv University. She served as an officer in the Defence Ministry's budget division and was senior economic adviser to Israel's ambassador to the OECD and UNESCO in Paris, then worked in international tax at EY and later in high-tech business development. She joined Yisrael Beiteinu in 2026 and is 22nd on its list.
