Ya'akov Margi (born 1960 in Rabat, Morocco) is a veteran Shas MK (since 2003) and was Minister of Religious Services (2009-2013) and Minister of Welfare and Social Affairs (2022-2025). He asked not to be included in a realistic slot in 2026 and holds a symbolic place at the end of the list.
Shas since 1993; head of the Beersheba religious council 1993-2003; MK from 2003. 2nd on the 2022 list (elected). Not seeking re-election in 2026; placed 119th (symbolic).
