Eitan Ginzburg was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1977 and grew up in Kibbutz Or HaNer and Ra'anana. A lawyer and former IDF Military Police major, he was deputy and acting mayor of Ra'anana and in 2018 became mayor, Israel's first openly gay mayor. He entered the Knesset with Blue and White in 2019, ran with National Unity in 2022 and returned to the Knesset in July 2025 replacing Gadi Eisenkot. He left Blue and White in May 2026 and joined Bennett's slate.
Co-founded Yisrael Aheret (2003); local lists in Ra'anana; Israel Resilience / Blue and White (2019–2026, incl. the National Unity alliance in 2022; entered the Knesset again in July 2025); left Blue and White in May 2026; Bennett 2026 / Together from August 2026. Positions in the Sept 2019 and 2020 Blue and White lists not confirmed.

ועדת הבחירות המרכזית אישרה פה אחד לח"כ איתן גינזבורג להתמודד ברשימת ביחד של בנט, מבלי הצורך להתפטר מהכנסת, לאור הסכמת סיעת כחול לבן שלא להכריז עליו כפורש בכנסת הנוכחית. למעשה מדןבר בהחלטה תקדימית של ועדת הבחירות שקובעת כלל לפיה אם חבר הכנסת וסיעתו הגיעו לסיכום על אי פרישה - חבר הכנסת רשאי להתמודד במסגרת פוליטית אחרת מבלי להידרש להתפטרות מוקשמת מהכנסת. בכך אימצה וועדת הבחירות המרכזית את עמדת יו"ר הוועדה, השופט סולברג בחוות דעתו שפרסם לאור בקשה מקדמית שהגיש ח"כ גינזבורג.
Translation The Central Elections Committee unanimously approved MK Eitan Ginzburg running on Bennett's Together list, without the need to resign from the Knesset, in light of the Blue and White faction's agreement not to declare him a defector in the current Knesset. In effect, this is a precedent-setting decision by the Elections Committee establishing a rule that if a Knesset member and his faction have reached an agreement on non-defection - the Knesset member may run within another political framework without being required to resign early from the Knesset. With this the Central Elections Committee adopted the position of the committee chairman, Justice Sohlberg, in the opinion he published following a preliminary request submitted by MK Ginzburg.
