Особенно после того, как выяснилось, что наши министерства и силы безопасности проигнорировали рекомендации из отчёта государственного контролёра за 2024 год. После провала, приведшего к резне 7 октября, мы могли бы рассчитывать, что все министерства и органы безопасности, включая ШАБАК и премьер-министра, проведут полный перезапуск работы своих ведомств и глубоко займутся всеми дырами и прорехами. This is what a collapse of consciousness looks like. An entire country looking at an enemy that challenges its very sovereignty - and interpreting it as a Waze app problem. As I said, note the planned and cynical timing and the clarity of the enemy within versus our blindness: On Friday they declare a "day of rage" and "Nazareth al-Aqsa", and the next day - on the holy Sabbath, the Sabbath of Simchat Torah, exactly three years since the outbreak of the terrible October 7 massacre - they go out to a "national, struggle-oriented and unifying event" marking the events of October 2000. They understand very well what the war is about. The war was never about the '67 lines, about this or that territory, and not even about Gaza. The whole war revolves around one single point: the Temple Mount, which was the pretext for the events of October 2000. It's no accident they called the Simchat Torah massacre "the al-Aqsa Flood". They identify the root of the conflict, link Jerusalem to the Galilee, and understand that the Mount is the heart of sovereignty. Every display of weakness, faintheartedness or folding on the Mount - is immediately perceived by them as an invitation to raise their heads and set the land on fire. We experienced this direct and dangerous connection firsthand just yesterday. The 'Zehut' party was forced to file an urgent complaint with the Israel Police following the crossing of a red line: an explicit incitement video spread on social media, which called for setting an ambush for me, physically harming me and taking revenge on me. And why? Because I went up to the Temple Mount. Because we fearlessly raise the flag of Jewish sovereignty and call for the return of the simple truth to the public table. The root of the struggle for our existence begins at the Temple Mount - the holiest place to the Jewish people - and that is exactly where our sovereignty is decided. Uri Zvi Greenberg taught us: "Whoever rules the Mount - rules the land". When the Temple Mount is still abandoned to the Muslim Waqf - we lose sovereignty not only in Jerusalem, we lose it in the Negev, in the Gaza border area, and in the end are afraid to drive on the roads of Misgav and the Galilee. No "alternative route" will stop the threat, and no flight from the public space will bring security. The consciousness of folding must be replaced by a consciousness of ownership and victory. Reflect back to them that you understood what they said. You can say: "I understand why you're worried about that", even when you don't agree on the solution. 3. Offer a practical alternative - and explain what can actually be done differently. How we'll draft the Haredim. How we'll lower the cost of living. How we'll eradicate cronyism. How we'll save education. Each according to what's close to their heart. Instead of talking about *what not*, shift the conversation to *how* we will fix the country, and who the people are who know how to do it. Give people back the belief and hope that things can be good here. 4. And most important: remember that the person sitting in front of you loves this country no less than you. And of course, even if you don't persuade, you keep loving. Because we are brothers and sisters, before and after the elections! Yalla, to work.
