As if the terrible massacre did not happen. And on top of this madness they keep pumping us with the illusions of the "Trump plan," fantasies about disarming Hamas by means of armies of Arab countries - Israel-haters - who will supposedly come to do the work for us and keep the quiet for us. How far does the blindness go?! How long will we run from responsibility by means of foreign subcontractors?! The refusal to look reality in the eye stems from the same deep root failure: the enemy is not waging a territorial struggle against us, but a religious war. For them this is not a war over borders, not over yellow lines and not over "economic rehabilitation." This is a holy war, a war of annihilation driven by religious fanaticism that is not subject to any material rationale or territorial dispute. Against burning religious faith, which sees death itself as a sacred value, you cannot stand with the military bookkeeping of "measured responses," nor with multinational forces. Against a religious war - victory will come only from a consciousness of holiness. Against the enemy's devotion to jihad, you cannot win with an "Israeliness" that only begs to return to the imaginary quiet. Against their religious war we can win only when we stand with deep and unapologetic Jewish faith in the eternal covenant of the people of Israel with its land: "And you shall take possession of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess it." Security is not a product of international gestures and hollow agreements; security stems only from ownership. Ownership means full sovereignty, removal of the enemy, and broad Jewish settlement throughout the Gaza region. The time has come to throw the doctrine of containment and arrangement into the dustbin of history. There is no substitute for our freedom, and there is no one who will guarantee our future but us.
